(APRIL 2009) With this category I’m doing something new because it seemed appropriate. There are 2 sub-categories for WAR MOVIES…first is the TOP 15 BEST WAR MOVIES (in terms of cinematic excellence) and second, the TOP 10 MOST ENJOYABLE WAR MOVIES where excellence is not as significant. Some are in both.

 

 I would add to the BEST list, “The Hurt Locker” and “Zero Dark Thirty”; and to the  Most Enjoyable List, “Inglorios Basterds”  (9/15/2014)
